FAQ

Do you provide hair and makeup?

No, but I do provide my top choices of Makeup and Hair Artists around Ada. Several of my clients, though, already know and have used someone they love. As long as you've seen their work and know they can be trusted, I'm good with you using your own, but I absolutely recommend getting your MUAH professionally done to give you a more polished and finished look for pictures, as the camera does tend to flatten your face a bit. Plus, it's just a fun part of the experience of getting your pictures made.

Can I do multiple senior shoots through out the year?

Absolutely! Most seniors do, in fact. I think it's great to do two senior sessions - either a summer/fall or fall/spring combo. That way you get to wear clothes and have looks that go with each season. Also, a lot of seniors look different at the end of their senior year as opposed to the beginning of it, whether it's due to a maturing of the face or hair cut, so you may want to capture that. Plus, cap and gowns don't come in until spring and you may want to show off and celebrate where you've decided to go to college in the fall with a t-shirt and banner or confetti, so spring minis are fun for all that, too!

Can I add someone to my shoot?

If you're only doing one senior session, then I do recommend that we only focus on you. However, if you're doing multiple sessions (2 or more), then I'd love to photograph you with friends or even get some with you and your family at the end of one of your sessions. Normally, there's no charge for this.

How do you prefer we pay?

Cash, check or Venmo, please. PAYMENT PLANS ARE AVAILABLE. In fact, most of my clients pay out their sessions and products.

What kind of products do you offer?

I LOVE designing albums and collages for clients! I also love creating cards (Christmas, Graduation and Thank You). With the digital images you get with your session, you are welcome to order your own prints, but I do still offer wall portraits for anyone not comfortable ordering their own. I also give my clients the name of a great professional lab they can order from online.

Do I need to bring my own ideas for the shoot?

Great question! No, but you are welcome to. I love when a client already has an idea for a location or a prop they want to use at their session, but most don't and that's totally ok. I enjoy planning my sessions with each client and coming up with good locations for each one. I'm not into using a lot of props, but 1 or 2 sometimes works GREAT!
